As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
• Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the food and beverage environment, adapting to varying working conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
