As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required by site protocols.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of activities and observations during shifts.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions or guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
