As a Security Officer - Chocolate Plant - Patrol in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by vehicle and/or on foot to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills as appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the food and beverage production environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
• Communicate professionally with individuals on-site, Allied Universal team members, and/or local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
