Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you'll be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management as needed.
  • Complete incident and patrol reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
