As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct regular patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Minimum 5 years of Armed Security, or 3 years Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military experience 
• Active Level III Armed Security License
• Ability to stay alert and focused during shifts
• Strong communication and observation skills

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted incidents.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as needed.
• Document incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Assist with access control and/or crowd management as required for the location.
• Carry and properly handle assigned firearms in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
