Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine driving patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visibility and professional presence will support a positive atmosphere, while your customer service and communication skills will help address concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
  • Assist with access control, including verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, which may include assisting with evacuations or providing directions during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
