Job Description


As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol Full Time in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help create a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Minimum 1 year or more of Security experience required 

Must be comfortable using computers or tablets

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any issues encountered while on duty.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
