As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Team in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for both patrolling and driving duties. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.


Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: Starts at $19.00 / hour unarmed then goes up to $25.90 / hour once armed

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or unusual occurrences within the food and beverage environment.
  • Work closely with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents, patrols, and activities.
  • Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements specific to armed posts and the food and beverage industry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
