As a Security Officer - Utility Perimeter Patrol in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues that may arise during patrols.
• Collaborate with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters as they occur.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to changing environments and conditions at the utility location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
