As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized individuals from entering the logistics and distribution location.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, addressing inquiries and providing directions as needed.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and screening individuals as required by site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during drills and real incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
