As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the premises to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or potential threats, and report findings according to company and client procedures.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry or activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any unusual occurrences observed during the shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate for incident response.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential threats or unwanted activity within the utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Hold a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
