As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with the public, providing outstanding customer service, and responding to situations with professionalism. This position requires driving as part of your duties, allowing you to cover various areas and contribute to a secure environment while embodying our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards within the location.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when situations require additional assistance.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
