As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential disruptions.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and the requirements of the healthcare location.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed during emergency situations and/or incidents.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and employees with directions and information as part of customer service responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
