Job Description


As a Security Guard - Chemical Plant Driver in Wynnewood, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees and/or visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as surveillance cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related risks.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and irregularities observed during assigned shifts.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established site-specific policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A law enforcement officer license is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
