What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and verifying credentials.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments, remaining alert to environmental and operational hazards.
  • Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
