As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Agent in La Grange Highlands, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and documentation as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity or persons.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers, providing directions and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
