As a Security Officer - Resident Entry Screening Driver in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Screener at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and verifying access for residents and guests. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, as you may patrol the property by vehicle and/or on foot. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service reflect Allied Universal's values and contribute to a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen incoming vehicles and individuals at the entrance to help to deter unauthorized access to the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all activities and incidents as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
• Monitor the entrance area and surrounding property to help to deter suspicious activity and/or violations of community rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
