Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Gate Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. This position requires both armed credentials and driving responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and care in every aspect of your daily duties.


Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.85 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

Armed Guard License or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter potential threats within the food and beverage production or distribution location.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Follow all company protocols and client site instructions regarding armed security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
