As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrols in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns specific to financial institution environments.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
