What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with campus representatives and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and/or directing visitors as appropriate for the location.
• Support the enforcement of campus rules, regulations, and policies through positive engagement and communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
