As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail and mall environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail or mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
  • Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity within the location.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, including evacuations or medical incidents, by following established procedures.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
