As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Escort in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor and report any irregularities or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related needs and support ongoing operations.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrol duties in various working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
