As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Unarmed Patrol in Tysons Corner, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential risks within the location to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials when required.
• Support the enforcement of site policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
