You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the campus community, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals on the premises by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering assistance as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, and visitors to address questions and provide guidance.
  • Document incidents and observations accurately in reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures for the educational environment.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations and drills, as directed by site leadership.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and follow all instructions from Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
