As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, respond to incidents as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual situations.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, visitors, and patients to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and document observations and actions taken during patrols and incident responses.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
