As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for all. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents within the retail location.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols for the handling, storage, and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
