As a Security Officer - Utilities Access Control in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the utilities location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence on site.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
