Job Description


As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling government locations. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong customer service and communication skills support everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation authority's property and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs within the government transportation environment.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and passengers by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific requirements for a government transportation location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
