As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. In this dynamic role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with the public to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of all persons entering and exiting the premises.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary, following all protocols and communication guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional presence while carrying assigned equipment and/or firearms, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
