As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, maintenance needs, or hazards identified during patrols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in daily reports according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
