As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Accomac, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while adhering to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for any unusual or prohibited activities.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation procedures and providing guidance to occupants.
• Collaborate with site personnel to support security-related needs specific to a food and beverage processing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
