As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, providing exceptional customer service, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for anything unusual.
  • Monitor the premises for security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while verifying access as required by site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related needs specific to a technology, media, and/or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
