As a Security Officer in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a financial institution environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to support a secure and welcoming environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
