As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain high visibility to help to deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves responding promptly to situations, monitoring access points, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment while demonstrating reliability, integrity, and teamwork in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with location-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of observations, incidents, and activities encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support security-related operations.
• Remain alert to unusual activity and report observations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts as required.
• Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
