Job Description


As a Security Officer - CRE Entry Patrol Unarmed in Tribeca, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the perimeter and common areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and site conditions as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies within the location.
  • Uphold a professional presence and represent Allied Universal by providing assistance and guidance to tenants, visitors, and contractors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
