As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer serving a government location, where you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves driving responsibilities and requires you to remain visible, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site protocols.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and communicate any concerns or potential threats as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
