As a Security Guard - Pearlridge Mall Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations. This is a driving post, requiring you to patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on foot, while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail mall location, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, working closely with the public and tenants as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail mall and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or onsite contacts.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the retail mall environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
