As a Security Officer - Access Control in Morehead, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will play a key role in access control at a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the retail location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from visitors and employees and offering directions or assistance as needed.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to observe for suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and site-specific policies.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with emergency personnel.
• Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
