As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents at a financial institution location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding area to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to site protocols and company guidelines.
  • Assist with access control measures, including verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the location.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
