As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Albany, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Report and document any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Participate in site-specific training and maintain all required certifications related to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
