As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Aero Sector in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is an armed and driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors as required.
  • Operate communication and dispatch equipment to coordinate response to incidents and/or emergencies within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities, incidents, and/or communications handled during the shift.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to relay important information and updates.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related operations.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources based on established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
