Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Room Operator in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining highly visible, and responding promptly to calls. This position is an armed and driving post, requiring you to support a secure atmosphere while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance throughout the site.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications for record-keeping and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with onsite security-related teams and site management to relay crucial information and updates as needed.
  • Respond to critical situations and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with customer service by providing information and support to employees, visitors, and contractors as required.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access or activities within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and/or other electronic means to coordinate security-related resources.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
