Job Description


As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Armed Dispatch in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities, helping to deter incidents and support a secure environment. This armed and driving post requires you to communicate clearly, respond quickly, and provide outstanding customer service, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate communications at the dispatch center to support security-related operations across the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and supporting site-specific policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all incoming and outgoing communications and incident reports.
  • Assist in coordinating emergency response activities and/or notifying appropriate personnel as required.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter potential risks and maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular checks of security-related equipment and systems to confirm operational status.
  • Relay important information and instructions to security-related teams and location staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
