As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information related to the facility and its operations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
