As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout financial institution locations. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, where you play a key role in fostering a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, facility staff, and/or visitors regarding security-related matters and site procedures.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
