Job Description


As a Security Officer - CRE Lobby Monitor in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will monitor access, assist with badge procedures, and help to deter security-related incidents, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do:

  • Greet visitors, tenants, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with property management, building staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Provide customer service by answering inquiries, giving directions, and assisting with general information requests.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information as required by the location.
  • Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and Allied Universal protocols while performing front desk duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
