As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive service. This armed role involves conducting regular patrols, engaging with residents, and providing excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence around the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Assist residents and visitors with inquiries or concerns, providing information and support as appropriate for the residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
