As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal serving a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues.
  • Remain alert and observant during patrols and while on post to help to deter suspicious behavior and/or security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
