Job Description


As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Shift Lead in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in an auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the automotive location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to maintain a positive presence on site.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and instructions as they relate to patrol and incident response duties at the automotive location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
