As a Security Officer - Education Campus Patrols FT in PHILADELPHIA, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by performing regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at an educational location. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual circumstances.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Assist in emergency response activities as required, supporting the needs of the educational environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals at the location, including reporting any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and/or assisting with visitor management as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
